Helpful Hints for H-1B filings on April 1, 2008

Some Helpful Hints for Filing a FY 2009 H-1B Cap Case:
1. Clearly label all H-1B cap cases in red ink on top margin of Form I-129 petition using the appropriate code. For example: Reg. Cap to indicate a 65,000 regular cap case; C/S Cap for Chile/Singapore H-1B1s.
2. Fill out Form I-129 and supplements correctly, consistently and completely. Form I-129 petition including the H classification supplement and H-1B Data Collection and Filing Fee Exemption Supplement
3. Employer must submit the correct filing fees or the case will be rejected.
