The Law Offices of Edward R. White, P.C. in Boston MA was established in 2000 to provide immigration law services to individuals, families and employers in the U.S. and around the world. Ed White founded this Professional Corporation (P.C.) after practicing law in Chicago since 1992, where he was engaged in pro bono asylum work in U.S. Federal Court and representing business and employers in litigation and business and employment law matters. Edward R. White P.C. is dedicated exclusively to the practice of immigration law. While the firm’s office is located in Boston, its clients include companies from around the country and individuals from around the globe. Ed White represents clients on matters ranging from permanent residency, through family, employer-sponsorship, self-petition by distinguished scientists, researchers, professionals whose work is in the national interest, to temporary work and investor visas such as H-1B professionals, H-2B seasonal workers, L-1 international office transferees and E-2 investors to name a few.  He has decades of experience working  closely with human resource professionals, talent acquisition specialists and management and is recognized for his personal, hands-on approach to providing them with up-to-date information and options when it comes to hiring and keeping foreign nationals as part of their workforce. Closely connected to his legal work for immigration clients is Ed White’s actively involvement as a member of the legal profession and in particular the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). Ed is a member of the New England and Rome District chapters of AILA and is currently serving on AILA’s liaison committee to Field Operations of United States Immigration & Citizenship Services (USCIS), which involves regular communication with USCIS leadership regarding trends, issues and latest updates on application processing and interviewing at the local USCIS Field Offices around the country.  Ed White served in 2013-2014 as Chair of the AILA New England Chapter and 5 years on the Executive Board including a year as liaison to the USCIS Field Offices in Boston and Lawrence MA.  He coordinated for several years the outreach effort by the Chapter and its member attorney to the U.S. Congress to advocate for sensible reform to the U.S. immigration system and new laws that are needed to modernize many of its programs and policies.  Ed White’s other active memberships include the Social Law Library in Boston , the French Cultural Center and WorldBoston, the World Affairs Council in Boston.
